Israeli security forces overcame an Arab terrorist who tried to stab a soldier using a screwdriver at the bus stop near the IDF Menashe Command base outside Har Bracha. No one was hurt. The terrorist, 22, was transferred to a GSS interrogation facility.

According to an eyewitness, United Hatzalah EMT Joseph Amir, who was standing close to the event, “it was unclear who the intended victim was, whether it was one of the soldiers or one of the civilians at the bus stop.”

According to Amir, “the terrorist put a bag down about 50 yards from the stop and approached in a suspicious manner, wielding a weapon. One young girl alerted the soldiers to the terrorist’s approach and the soldiers subdued the terrorist without shooting him. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident.”
