Young women at the "Sivuv Sha'arim" march around the old gates to the Holy Temples.

It is amazing how a pathetic group of 100 women this past year, with the help of The New York Times, has been able to inflict their American values of democracy and equality on Judaism in the tradition of Korach who, like the Women of the Wall, considered themselves just as priestly as Moses. For more on what happened to K0rach’s followers, consult the Fourth Book of the Torah, Numbers (BaMidbar), Chapter 16.

The Women of the Wall can shout and scream their “prayers” as much as they want. I really could not care less.

The several hundred men and women  who prayer, danced and sang around the Temple Mount gates this past Rosh Chodesh had no motive other than to reach as close as possible to the Holy of Holies. They know the true meaning of equality – equal before God, without the totally vain, selfish and insane notion that “equal” means the “same.”

I have no claim to God’s accounting books, but I believe He listens first and last to the Jews who sing praise to God, in pure honesty and honest purity, without any need of publicity stunts or acting like someone they are not.

May God bless each and every one of them.
