US Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman

U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman scolded the Palestinian Authority leadership for its deafening silence from the Palestinian Authority leadership in response to this weekend’s murders of two young IDF soldiers in the Benjamin region and a third Israeli man in Jerusalem.

“Tragedy in Israel,” Friedman wrote in a tweet on Monday morning, noting that all three were murdered by “Palestinian terrorists. Such brutality and no condemnation from the PA!”

Friedman wrote in his tweet that he was praying for the families and the wounded. “So much sadness,” he added.

Adiel Kolman, 32, was an employee at the City of David excavations in the Old City of Jerusalem. He was stabbed in the chest repeatedly by an Arab terrorist on Haggai Street as he was going home from work.

IDF Captain Ziv Dawes and Sergeant Netanel Kahalani were killed in a vehicle-ramming attack Friday afternoon while guarding the entrance to the Jewish town of Mevo Dotan.

Kolman was laid to rest at 11 am Monday in the community cemetery in his home community of Kochav HaShachar.
