UNIFIL official checks shrapnel from a Katyusha missile fired at Israel from Lebanon (archive)

Lebanon, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be receiving 85,251 artillery shells from the U.S. based Medico Industries, sold for USD $35,512,402, according to a report in U.S. Department of Defense.

The Foreign Military Sale includes 85,251 120mm HE (high explosive) shells, 184,519 FRPC (full range practice charge) training shells and 21,187 smoke shells. The report did not break down what percentage would specifically be going to Lebanon.

The transfer and sale will be completed by July 31, 2020.

Lebanon is effectively controlled by Hezbollah.
