Paramedics from the Magen David Adom emergency medical service worked to resuscitate the child after he was pulled from the water, and rushed him to Soroka Medical Center.

The crisis occurred after their vehicles were suddenly stranded in a flash flood in the area, along the southern section of the Dead Sea.

“At this time the soldiers are wrapping up rescue operation and will continue to search for those who are still missing to the best of their ability as the weather conditions permit in the area of the flood zone.”
