Kosher Menu Available At Ballpark In Manchester, New Hampshire
Posted Jun 21 2006 Rabbi Levi Krinsky of Chabad of New Hampshire has announced that arrangements have been made for a glatt kosher menu to be available at select Fisher Cats home games. The NH Fisher Cats team is an AA affiliate of the Major League Baseball Toronto Blue Jays and is located in Manchester, New Hampshire.
This is truly a milestone for the city of Manchester. Rabbi Krinsky urges all to come out, listen to the crack of the bat and cheer for the home team while enjoying a glatt kosher meal.
In addition, groups of 50 or more - a camp, synagogue, youth group or just a large group of friends from anywhere in the New York/New England area who wish to take in a game with the kosher concession - can contact Chabad two weeks in advance, and depending on ticket availability, Rabbi Krinsky and his staff will do all they can to accommodate them. Please consult the Fisher Cats website, www.nhfishercats.com, for the home schedule.
The rabbi emphasizes that the kosher concession will not be open during all games. Please check with their office before attending a game to ascertain if it is open.
As of this printing, the kosher concession has been reserved for the July 19 game with the Portland Sea Dogs by a camp in New York. Everyone is welcome to purchase tickets for the game and take part in this event.
