Yishai talks about yesterday’s rocket fire from Gaza, and the explosion surrounding the Rabbi Barry Freundel sentencing. He is joined by Rabbi Susan Silverman (sister of renowned comedienne Sarah Silverman) — a leader of the “Women of the Wall” movement — to hear her take on Gaza, the Women of the Wall and the Rabbi Freundel scandal.

Then, Yishai is joined by freelance writer Bethany Mandel from the US to hear about her ordeal as a convert with ‘peeping Tom’ Rabbi Barry Freundel. She recounts providing testimony at the sentencing of Freundel, convicted of several counts of voyeurism, after he was caught having planted a camera in the shower of the mikvah (ritual bath) adjacent to his prominent Washington DC synagogue. She also discusses the effect this has had on Orthodox Judaism.
