A uniquely cooperative event took place on March 6 when the Young Israel of Deerfield Beach hosted a nationally televised siyum on Masechas Shabbos that was presented by the Agudath Israel of America.

Agudath Israel chose Young Israel of Deerfield Beach “because we have one of the largest synagogue-based daf yomi programs in the country,” said Rabbi Yisroel Edelman, spiritual leader of the 950-member congregation. Approximately 75 members of the synagogue participate in these daily sessions.
