WHAT: Chai Lifeline Southeast Gala: When a child is born or diagnosed with a serious illness, the entire family feels the pain. Chai Lifeline Southeast, the Lasko Family Southeast Family Services Center, provides the emotional, social, and financial support that enables each family member to weather the crises and daily challenges of serious pediatric illness.

Services include hospital visits and respite, insurance support, counseling, therapeutic and recreational programs for the entire family, and much more. Every year dozens of Southeast region children and teens attend Camp Simcha, named in memory of Dr. Samuel Abraham, and Camp Simcha Special, named in memory of Zvi Dovid Obstfeld. These camps are designed to meet the medical and social needs of children with life-threatening or lifelong illnesses.
