Chabad of South Broward County recently held six separate graduations for its educational institutions. There were three ceremonies for Chai Tots, a graduation for the Hallandale Hebrew Club, a graduation for the Chaya Aydel Girls Seminary, and a graduation/bat mitzvah celebration for thirteen girls in the Bat Mitzvah Club.

The bat mitzvah celebration was attended by 300 people, including many family members who flew in from out-of-town locations, several from overseas.

Due to the expansion of Chabad of South Broward headquarters, every one of the organization’s programs will be growing for the next school year. The preschool is expanding from 85 to 140 children. Camp Gan Israel, which opens Monday, June 22, is now accepting 300 children and the Hebrew Club has doubled from 100 to 200. Chabad of South Broward had waiting lists on all of these activities and are delighted that they are now able to accommodate those who have been waiting to participate in their many classes and activities.
