Chabad of South Broward will be hosting its 32nd annual dinner on Tuesday, March 5, at its headquarters, 1295 East Hallandale Beach Blvd.

The organization was founded in December 1980 and has led in Jewish education, outreach and social service. Chabad of South Broward is home to over forty institutions and agencies, and oversees twelve Chabad Centers in Broward County.

Honorees this year are Jeff and Honey Rubenstein, who will receive the M’Dor L’Dor Award; Hallandale Beach Vice Mayor Alex Lewy, recipient of the Young Leadership Award; Rabbi Avram Skurowitz, Broward Educator of the Decade Award; and Valerie Banon Bensadon, Eishet Chayil, Woman of Valor.

Honorary dinner co-chairs are Hallandale Beach Mayor Joy Cooper and Nicki Grossman, president of the Greater Ft Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. Dinner co-chairs are Jewish Federation of Broward County Vice President Bernie Friedman, Esq., Steven Jacoby and Gerard Bensadon.

The dinner will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m.; dinner will start at 7. Cost per person is $180.

The dinner will feature gala entertainment, few speeches, and an exciting program that will finish before 10 p.m.
