Governor Rick Scott visited North Miami Beach/Aventura on the morning of Wednesday, September 17. The popular Scott met with community leaders, rabbis, and members of the Jewish community in South Florida to hear their concerns on a variety of subjects.

“Some people ask if Governor Scott is a right-winger, a left-winger, or a centrist,” said Rabbi Pinchas Weberman, spiritual leader of Ohev Shalom Congregation and president of the Orthodox Rabbinical Council.

“I say he is none of these distinctions. Governor Scott looks at each situation and judges it according to its merit. He is above them all.”
