Florida Grill Steakhouse has opened, to the delight of locals and tourists alike. The ambience is charming. The food is delicious.

Florida Grill is located in the lovely oceanfront Days Inn Hotel at 4299 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. The decor is pure South Beach. Art deco-etched mirrors and windows, black and white photos of Florida deco buildings, and lovely linen and crystal on the tables create an alluring background for a very special meal.

The mouthwatering menu is a combination of the best classic Jewish cuisine as well as grill and new items. There is something to please every taste and palate.

Appetizers include Buffalo wings, crispy duck rolls, sweet and sour potato, veal sweet bread, chicken fingers with salsa, Florida style “crab” cakes with wasabi pickled ginger sauce, chicken kebab, and stuffed cabbage.

The salads are fresh and tasty. The soups are yummy.

Entree selections include stuffed breast of veal in peach sauce, braised lamb shank, steamed beef flanked with creamy sauce, grilled 28-day rib eye steak with balsamic peppercorn, beef schnitzel with rustic eggplant sauce, veal schnitzel with sautéed cherry tomatoes, B.B.Q. short ribs, and burgers and fries. They’re all delectable. All entrees come with a choice of Yukon mashed potato, lentil rice, or french fries.

Luscious chicken dishes include grilled chicken pargiot with curry onion, chicken schnitzel, grilled chicken, and stuffed breast of chicken with Dijon sauce.

The seafood choices are really special. Sea Bass encrusted with sesame and teriyaki ginger sauce, Norwegian salmon on fettuccine pasta, and Dover sol with lemon wine sauce are all scrumptious.

Florida Grill’s desserts are the perfect way to end the perfect meal. Warm apple crisp with vanilla ice cream, chocolate melt cake, mango or strawberry sherbet – all are worth every calorie!
