The Lana Ditchek Goldberg Hachnossos Kallah of Greater Miami will mark its 30th anniversary with a benefit tea. The women-only event will feature a fashion show highlighted by Liliane Roland Children’s’ Fashion Boutique and Chewing Gum Ladies Boutique, a delicious sushi and dessert buffet, and coffee bar and raffle prizes.
The event will pay special tribute to benefactor Mrs. Sisel Klurman and founders Rebbetzin Barbara Shapiro, Rebbetzin Miriam Lehrfield and Mrs. Judy Mayberg.
The celebration will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, at The Shul of Bal Harbour, 9540 Collins Avenue in Surfside. Complimentary valet parking will be provided.
Hachnossos Kallah enables young couples who need financial assistance to have a wedding they can remember with pride. The organization also provides aid in setting up a Jewish home. This is an expensive undertaking and one that many cannot afford.
This year, 51 couples were helped. The organization needs the support of the extended Jewish community so that it can continue in its important work.
General admission is $36, high school girls $10, patrons $100, supporters $180, benefactors $250, silver benefactors $360, gold benefactors $500, platinum benefactors $1,000, diamond benefactors $1,500 and sponsoring a bride is $2,500.
