Students of RASG Hebrew Academy in Miami Beach received awards presented by the Miami Beach City Commission on March 28. The awards were in recognition of the school’s participation in the national JUMP program.

JUMP is a multi-faceted competition comprised of four specific challenges: chesed (kindness), fundraising, Israel awareness and combating the dangerous practice of texting while driving.

The Hebrew Academy students took part in all categories and used successful and innovative techniques to achieve their goals.

Jewish Unity Mentoring Program (JUMP) is the premiere leadership program for Jewish day school students across North America. Five South Florida schools participate in JUMP in partnership with Southern NCSY. Each team of eight 10th and 11th grade students strives to become the next generation of Jewish leaders by learning to meet challenges and serving their communities.

RASG Hebrew Academy is an Orthodox college and yeshiva preparatory school that inspires and equips students by focusing on their individual attributes and instilling eternal Torah values in a changing world.
