The Rabbi Alexander S. Gross Hebrew Academy of Miami Beach recently participated in the American Airlines Arena Court of Dreams. This unique opportunity allowed student athletes to play on the Miami Heat’s home court.

The Varsity Lady Warriors (girls’ team) and the Varsity Warriors (boys’ team) played separately against rival Posnack Jewish Day School. Winning both games added to the thrill of the unbelievable afternoon.

The Lady Warriors started strong and never looked back in a 48-12 win. The Lady Warriors were led by Hailey Dobin’s 23 points. Bari Gordon added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Rachel Kahn added 10 rebounds and Anais Moyal chipped in with 5 points and 5 steals, as the Lady Warriors won their 7th consecutive game, remaining undefeated in the regular season.

The Hebrew Academy Varsity Warriors scored a 58-21 victory. Isaac Schechter led H.A. with 15 points and 4 assists. Danny Abramowitz added 13 points and 8 rebounds and Morris Esformes chipped in with 8 points and 4 steals. The Warriors had a season-high 10 players score, and shot 17 for 22 from the foul line.

The RASG Hebrew Academy, located at 2400 Pine Tree Drive in Miami Beach, is an Orthodox college and yeshiva preparatory school serving students through grade 12.
