The JSU Judaica Club of Nova High School in Davie came together last week to prepare for Purim. Students learned about the miracle and mitzvot of the holiday. They also participated in a hands-on workshop where they were able to learn about and make their own hamantashen with teacher sponsor Sharon Freier and NCSY Regional Director Todd Cohn.

Nova JSU club’s final program of the school year will be a Friday night Shabbat dinner in Hollywood. The club is in its first year and has already engaged nearly 100 different teens representing the majority of the Jewish students at Nova. For more information, contact Todd Cohn at [email protected].
