Rabbi Pinchas Weberman

Rabbi Pinchas Weberman gave the invocation at the Republican Executive Committee of Miami-Dade County at the group’s May 9 meeting. The event took place at the Renaissance Ballroom, located at 5910 S.W. 8th Street, in Miami.

The rabbi was introduced by chairman Nelson Diaz and membership chairman Corey Brier.

Rabbi Weberman has been the spiritual leader of Ohev Shalom Congregation on Miami Beach since 1960. He has served as president of the Orthodox Rabbinical Council of South Florida since 1979. The rabbi lectures and delivers halacha and hashkafa classes at various Jewish schools in South Florida including the Yeshiva Gedola, Toras Chaim, Talmudic University and Bais Yaakov.

Rabbi Weberman serves as chaplain for the Miami Beach Police Department, for the Miami-Dade County Police Department and for the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. He is also on the staff of the Miami-Dade County medical examiner’s office as liaison for the Jewish community.
