RASG Hebrew Academy Holds Annual Poetry Night

Sixth-grade boys (L-R) Eitan Tabul, Jack Benveniste-Plitt, Sam Klein, Joseph Abrahams, and Noah Dobin present a poem in Hebrew.
The RASG Hebrew Academy held its third annual Poetry Night on March 5 at Books and Books in the Bal Harbour Shops. The gathering began with a beautiful musical interlude performed by the school chorus and directed by Shlomo Krivinsky.
Adina Ciment, head of the English department, introduced the program which was a poetry presentation in three languages: English, Hebrew and Spanish. Middle-school students read their poems with enthusiasm and charm. The event was coordinated by Leslie Harris.
