RASG Hebrew Academy held a community-wide Israel Awareness Day on December 25. The informative and meaningful event was held on the school’s main campus at 2400 Pine Tree Drive in Miami Beach.

Featured speakers were Sgt. Benjamin Anthony, founder of Our Soldiers Speak; Rabbi Seth Mandell, co-founder of the Koby Mandell Foundation; and Osher Twito, a child victim of terror at Sderot. Hebrew Academy students hosted Osher with a lively bar mitzvah celebration including a luncheon, music and dancing. A public screening of “Israel Inside: How a Small Nation Makes a Big Difference” followed the bar mitzvah celebration.

The event was sponsored by Dr. Shmuel and Evelyn Katz and Beth Israel Congregation of Miami Beach.

RASG Hebrew Academy is an Orthodox Jewish college and yeshiva preparatory school that serves students through grade 12 and inspires students to reach their academic and spiritual potential instilling eternal Torah values in a changing world.
