RASG Hebrew Academy, located at 2400 Pine Tree Drive in Miami Beach, will hold a grand opening of the school’s new gymnasium on October 4. The community-wide event will mark the official opening of the multistory center, designed by noted architect Koby Karp.

The gym has come to fruition thanks to generous donations and tremendous fundraising efforts. The beautiful facility contains indoor basketball and volleyball courts, locker rooms, workout area, coaches’ offices and more. Alumni, parents, students and community members are welcome and encouraged to attend the celebration, which will begin at 9 p.m.

The program will feature an induction of alumni from championship teams into the Hebrew Academy Sports Hall of Fame. The weekend’s festivities will also include alumni for men’s basketball and women’s volleyball tournaments.

For more information and details about these events, contact the Hebrew Academy Development office at 305-532-6421, ext. 111.
