The OU Job Board created the concept for the “15-minute resume tune-up,” which developed into Resume Checkup Day. Career counselors and expert resume writers spend time with each candidate to review his or her materials. Suggestions and corrections are made using the newest resume guidelines, and candidates are assisted in pursuing their job searches.

“Taking fifteen minutes to tune-up a resume can make a difference in you life forever,” said Michael Rosner, international director of the OU Job Board. “Whether you are employed or not, it’s always a good idea to have your resume checked out by a professional who can evaluate its strengths and weaknesses and advise the best ways to present yourself and your qualifications in the best possible light.”

The OU Job Board has held successful resume tune-ups in the Greater New York-New Jersey areas, Atlanta, Memphis and in Israel.
