The day will begin with a parade at 10 a.m. at the SE corner of Hallendale Beach Blvd and US1. The march will feature colorful Jewish themed floats, music, bands and juggling clowns. After the parade, children can enjoy more then 50 free amusement park rides and many carnival games.

The fair will also feature a no charge concert starring the Israeli DJs and the popular Yossi Bales and his YBO Orchestra.

The celebration will offer a glatt kosher barbecue and traditional bonfire.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe initiated the tradition of Lag B’Omer parades, especially for children. Today, 69 years after the first one in 1944, Lag B’Omer parades are a tradition in Jewish communities around the world.

This year is the third time the parade and fair is being held at Gulfstream. Organizers will make sure that plenty of shade is provided to guarantee a day of tremendous celebration and comfort.
