Shabbos Nachamu Kiddush At YI Of Deerfield Beach

South-Florida-logo

Young Israel of Deerfield Beach is sponsoring a sit-down kiddush/luncheon after morning services, Saturday, July 20. The event will celebrate Shabbos Nachamu, which follows the fast of Tisha B’Av.

The Tisha B’Av fast commemorates the saddest date in the Jewish calendar, marking the destruction of the first Temple in Jerusalem by the Babylonians and the second Temple by the Romans 500 years later. Shabbos Nachamu is the Sabbath of Consolation, a time of hope for the Jewish people.

Young Israel of Deerfield Beach is located at 202 Century Boulevard in Deerfield Beach. Members and their guests who are in Century Village are invited to participate in the festivities.

For more information, call Joel Saibel at 954-725-8207.
