This year more than 650 K-3, elementary, middle, high school and university students from across the state and country participated in the Holocaust Documentation and Education Center’s 2014 Visual Arts and Writing Contest. A group of distinguished individuals including survivors, interviewers, artists and educators served as judges.

Every submission was inspiring and the center thanks everyone who participated in any way. This year’s winners year’s winners in the Visual Arts, Writing, Media, and Simple Acts of Kindness contests:
