Yachad is dedicated to addressing the needs of individuals with disabilities to facilitate their inclusion in the Jewish community. South Florida Yachad empowers children and adults who have developmental disabilities and other challenges, to lead full lives that include the opportunities to socialize, learn, work and celebrate their Jewish heritage.

Yachad programs strengthen the Jewish community by increasing awareness and understanding of individuals with special needs. Many different programs bring Yachad participants together with their typically developing peers. The friendships they develop are mutually enriching.

Yachad is a member of the Orthodox Union. For more information on the South Florida chapter, visit www.southfloridayachad.com or call Ms. Tzippi Rosen at 347-239-5703.
