The Jewish community of Boca Raton has experienced widespread growth. Numerous new shuls and schools have been established. Yeshiva Tiferes Torah of Boca Raton (TTB) was recently created to accommodate the need for a boys’ high school and beis medrash.

The yeshiva, an affiliate of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim/Rabbinical Seminary of America, opened its doors to 25 beis medrash talmidim on August 28. The talmidim were joined by 13 ninth-graders on September 2.

The experienced and dedicated roshei yeshiva – Rabbi Yigal Abramchik, Rabbi Shaul Opoczynski and Rabbi Yehoshua Schloss, all of whom are musmachim of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim/RSA – have created an educational program that is intellectually challenging, emotionally rewarding, and spiritually stimulating.

Dr. Hillel Abramson, present dean of Touro College South and future dean of its Flatbush Campus in Brooklyn, is the director of academics. He has assembled an exemplary secular studies faculty that will encourage every student to strive to reach his potential.

Beyond its regular programs, the yeshiva conducts night sedarim at Young Israel of Boca Raton, Boca Raton Synagogue, and Boca Jewish Center/Shaaray Tefillah. Various other learning opportunities will be offered to the community throughout the year.
