Hungarian Ambassador In L.A.

Dr. George Szapary, the Hungarian ambassador to the U.S., recently visited Los Angeles to discuss political, social and economic matters with that city’s leaders. L.A. Fire Commissioner Andrew Friedman introduced the ambassador to Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca for a discussion pertaining to policing problems that are common to Budapest and Los Angeles.

In the wake of recent anti-Semitic statements made in the Hungarian parliament, Friedman hosted a breakfast at the Simon Wiesenthal Center. In addition to leaders of the Center, Anti-Defamation League and American Jewish Committee members attended the breakfast. Ambassador Szapary said that the extreme right-wing Hungarian political party Jobbik is not part of the government, and that Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s government has publicly declared that Hungary has a zero tolerance policy on the issue of anti-Semitism.

  1. Hungary's government has zero tolerance on the issue of anti-Semetism?

Lazlo Czatary has murdered more than 15,000 Jews. The Hungarian government has him watched in his apartment in Budapest, but is unwilling to bring him to trial.

They don't want to upset the many Hungarians that agree that all Jews should be murdered.

No government in the world has a greater tolerance for anti-Semitism than Hungary, not Iran, not Egypt, not Saudi Arabia.

  2. Rick Asztalos says:

If you really want a war criminal, go after George Soros, he even brags about what he did to hundreds of thousands of Jews.
I do think you are unjustly exaggerating your point on Hungary. I heard Iran calling for the extermination of Israel. The Hungarians didn't say anything like that.
It is okay though, I will forgive you even if you don't apologize.
Peace unto you and God bless Israel.

  3. Rick Asztalos says:

Praise God and peace unto Israel. I know there are still a small group of knuckle heads that are racist, but I am happy to see the majority of Hungarians are on Gods side.
