Events In the West: This Shabbos Rabbi Daniel Lapin – author, lecturer, and radio host – will be the scholar-in-residence at BCMH in Seattle, and Dr. Marc Shapiro – author and a professor who holds the Weinberg Chair in Judaic Studies at the University of Scranton – will be the scholar-in-residence at EDOS in Denver… On Sunday, January 26, Jack Abramoff will speak on behalf of Young Israel of Century City in a private home… On Saturday night, February 8, the Museum of Tolerance hosts the Ma’aleh Film Festival.
