Community News: Garden of Palms, an assisted living facility on Fairfax in L.A, has started a regular minyan on Shabbos with the hope of enhancing Shabbos for its residents and the community… Free Jewish classes for children 5-10, regardless of religious affiliation, will be offered five days a week at the 3rd Street public school starting in September. A private donor is sponsoring the program.
