Events In The West: On Thursday, February 27, the Etta Israel Center will host Dr. Robert Brooks, internationally renowned educator and lecturer, for a one-day conference on: “The Power of Mindsets: Nurturing Motivation and Resilience in Youth.”

Community News: Garden of Palms, an assisted living facility on Fairfax in L.A, has started a regular minyan on Shabbos with the hope of enhancing Shabbos for its residents and the community… Free Jewish classes for children 5-10, regardless of religious affiliation, will be offered five days a week at the 3rd Street public school starting in September. A private donor is sponsoring the program.

 

Women Only: On February 23, Rivi Poupko Kletenic will speak for the OU Women’s Torah Network at YULA Girls School.
