Scholars-In-Residence: This Shabbos, the following scholars-in-residence will speak on the west coast: Rabbi Mark Spiro, executive director of Living Judaism and managing director of Seattle’s Hebrew High – at BMCH in Seattle; Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations – at Young Israel of Century City in L.A.; and Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron at Mogen Dovid in L.A.

Seniors: On Sunday, March 9 the Golden Years Half Day Learning Symposium, for seniors and their caretakers, will take place at Beth Jacob Beverly Hills. The symposium, starting with a free breakfast, covers medical, practical, and Jewish issues for seniors. There will also be a senior resource fair during the free lunch.

Women Only: On Sunday evening, March 9 Moran Sabbah will perform at a benefit for the San Francisco Mikvah.
