On Sunday evening, April 7, the Yeshiva Aharon Yaakov Ohr Eliyahu was joined by parents, grandparents, and children for a communitywide commemoration honoring the six million kedoshim of the Shoah. The program was initiated by Vera Goldner and the Yeshiva Aharon Yaakov Ohr Eliyahu, under the direction of its menahel, Rabbi Shlomo Goldberg. The ceremony concluded with the lighting of six memorial candles by Holocaust survivors and members of their families.
