The Weinbaum Yeshiva High School is holding a Chanukah Toy and Book Drive this month to benefit Chai Lifeline.

Chai Lifeline is an organization whose mission has been to restore the light of childhood to children with life-threatening or chronic illness.  Chai Lifeline restores normalcy to family life, and better enables families to withstand the crises and challenges of serious pediatric illness.

Student Council Vice President and President of Community Outreach, senior Perla Maikhor, explains: “This year, WYHS’ chesed committee decided to run a toy and book drive in order to put a smile on Chai Lifeline’s kids’ faces during Chanukah. We will be collecting all types of games and toys for kids of all ages. We are very excited about this drive and hope to make a great impact on families and enable them to have some happiness.”
Un-wrapped brand new toys and books will be accepted through Monday, December 29 at Weinbaum Yeshiva High School. For more information, please contact Heather Andron at 561-417-7422.
