To mark IDC Herzliya’s 20th anniversary, we spent a day following Prof. Uriel Reichman, IDC’s founder and president, and Jonathan Davis, VP for External Relations, around its delightful campus.
“Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” hosted by Jewish Press columnist Aaron Klein and broadcast on New York’s WABC, achieved a milestone in the latest rankings, becoming number 1 on the AM dial in New York City.
Klein’s program, regularly rated among the top three AM programs in its time slot, bested all other AM stations in the New York market in December, scoring higher than even the difficult-to-beat all-news stations.
The highly-rated radio show focuses on U.S. new, politics and foreign affairs. It uniquely fuses news reporting, including exclusive investigative journalism, with the concept of talk radio and is the only radio talk show in America that is broadcast from the Middle East.
The program also made the radio industry’s highly coveted Talkers Magazine “Heavy Hundred,” one of only two all-weekend shows in America to make the list. With thousands of weekday shows on air, it is rare for a weekend program to make the list.
The show also made the Talk Stream Live “Power 50,” which ranks the top talk-radio shows streaming on the Web.
