Remembering My Dear Wife, Rebbetzin Lillian Chomsky,

On Her First Yahrzeit

Alone and not alone am I,
Little till now did I know why.
Of the various menus that life does serve,
Not all do we accept, or feel we deserve.
Especially is the loss of a beloved difficult to bear,

A source of joy and comfort, for whom we shed many a tear.
No one can replace her, to be sure,
Devastating is the loss of a soul, so beautiful, so pure.

Never a bad word about her could one say,
Outstandingly successful in her multifaceted tasks, from day to day.
Teacher, wife, mother, grandma, excelling in all,

Ashining example, royally graceful and tall.
Love for family, and for good deeds,
Over and above expectations, she provided our needs.
Now and forever, my sweet dear Lillian is part of me,
Entwining our glorious life together unto eternity!
