Kosher Tidbits from around the Web – July 25, 2007

 

South Florida, rejoice! The Schakolad Chocolate Factory franchise in Davie is now certified kosher under the ORB.  And according to owner Baruch Schaked, “In addition to the kosher dark chocolates and milk chocolates, we’re about to introduce a parve chocolate that you won’t find anywhere else in the area.”

 

 

And for those of us in Brooklyn – well, we can rejoice as well.  Chocolate Girl - a certiifed kosher gourmet chocolate store has opened on Seventh Avenue.  Onwer, Tziporah Avigayil Jaeger, imports for a kosher chocolate company in Belgium then tempers and reworks it here in Brooklyn.  One of her signatures will be a hot chocolate with a pink dollop of whipped cream on top.
