From Paris to Milan newspapers across the world are talking about the “non-kosher ” clothing that had been sold in Israel. The Italian fashion company Zara ran advertisements in many Israeli publications apologizing for selling suits with shatnez. An article of clothing is considered to have shatnez and cannot be worn when there is any combination of wool and linen.

And out of Cincinnati, Ohio comes news that the Bigg’s supermarket located in Pleasant Ridge will be remolded and offer more variety of departments with a focus on kosher. For those who don’t know Bigg’s is a supermarket chain with 12 locations in the Greater Cincinnati area.
