A Small Dose Of Prevention Goes A Long Way
All these procedures can be followed for the prevention and removal of head lice as well.
Finding your personal sanctuary invaded by bedbugs is a horrible experience. If, G-d forbid, you find yourself fighting this scourge, you have all my sympathies and blessings for a successful extermination. However, it’s important to put this experience in perspective. This isn’t a debilitating disease or a life changing event. This is an inconvenience, albeit an extremely annoying inconvenience. With perseverance, you will prevail over these little buggies. I promise you that much. Happy hunting!

As much as folks might want to kvetch about wanze (bed bugs), it can be hard to sort the mishegas from reality. First and foremost, if you find a bug on the bed (or elsewhere), don't assume it is a bed bug. Most are not. Similarly, there are many other causes for bites or bite-like reactions other than bed bugs. If you find a bug, capture it or its digital likeness, then submit these to Identify LLC for a rapid (usually in minutes or hours), independent (we're not associated with pest control products or firms), confidential (we don't share your info with anyone) and expert evaluation. This resource can save you vast amounts of money and worry. So, let's keep bed bugs off the list of Passover plagues. They really don't qualify.
