Fire Station: Call your neighborhood fire station and see if you can arrange a tour. Big trucks, lights, uniform, and maybe a dog with spots…what could be better? Don’t forget to bake some treats for the firemen as a way to show your thanks and to teach your children appreciation for those who keep us safe.

There are so many more fun, free ideas and activities that are easily accessible to every type of family, regardless if you are more into sports or prefer lying in a beach chair with a yummy drink. Don’t give into commercial temptations; make your own family memories and you’ll end the day without any regrets.
