Question: Where do you think you’ll study after high school?

I plan on attending yeshiva for a year or two and then enrolling in college. I’d want to go somewhere local — perhaps Queens College, since my mother is an alumni. I would like to attend college while simultaneously going to a local yeshiva part time. After my education, I’d like to go into real estate since that’s where one can really become a success, especially in New York.

I think I’ll go to Israel for a year to further my Jewish studies and then attend college. I think I’ll come out a different person after spending a year in Israel, with a deeper appreciation and understanding of the Torah. Once I’m in college I hope to major in accounting.

I’m thinking of going to Brooklyn College since I don’t want to go to school too far from home. My sisters went there and majored in business; thank God they are doing well today with their own stores in the neighborhood. I don’t want to limit myself to business, however, and I do plan on exploring other areas of learning. I also want to include Israel in my plans — maybe not for a whole year, but definitely for a month or two to travel and learn.

I’m really interested in exploring culinary school. I think it would be really cool to learn how to master cooking and then work on revamping the kosher menu. I also want to visit Israel since I’ve never been there. My main goal is to open up my own business.
