And I heard you from the darkness From the deep cracks of the soul I heard you scream into the starry night: “Why?” You were pale… so white. You were like an angel. If I could picture you, you would be the most beautiful of all.

You wanted to be free, nothing else was on your mind.

To be a bird flying into the clouds was your desire. You would dream the sweetest of dreams hoping it was reality.

It was like a different dimension. But slowly you shed the skin of reality and everything became a living nightmare. In your eyes I see pain… the pain which scarred your soul, which burned within. Your eyes, the sight of innocence has gone away. Your world- everything you knew and loved would sink into the deep depths of the dark ocean. Everything you needed was gone like the wind which whistles through the darkest forests.

The wind, when it hits you, you are suddenly paralyzed and you cannot speak a word. Then silence- the one sound that destroys every other sound and is heard from miles away. And for a few seconds you are barely breathing, holding your breath so they wont find you. You cry for you have seen the shame, hurt, and suffering which made you so weak. And then while your hand is attached to mine I feel the waves of energy flow through.

I feel a shard of glass which is your misery.

I can feel a tiny fragment of it, but I cannot feel the entire piece of glass that is broken. And while our hands are still together you speak to me while I look into your eyes.

And it hurts to hear every word. Your story is not like any other person’s.

Your story is not just a legend or a poem.

It is your life: the story that will be ingrained within you until the end of time.

Your story is courageous filled with heroic aspects.

You are my role models who make me a better person.

You are my inspiration, the fire that burns within me.
