Born in Cordovero, Spain and caused to flee a fanatical Muslim sect, the Rambam travelled to Morocco, Eretz Yisrael, Alexandria, and then served as a physician in the court of the Sultan in Cairo Fostat.

Nonstop coverage documented the misery of passengers, who struggled without electric lights, air conditioning and working toilets.

The Board of Trustees of Weinbaum Yeshiva high School has proudly announced that Rabbi Jonathan Kroll will serve as its new Head of School effective August 1, 2013. Rabbi Kroll joins Weinbaum Yeshiva High School from S.A.R High School in Riverdale, New York, where he has held teacher and associate principal titles since 2003.
