The sub-heading of this book’s title is: The Exploration and Improvement of The Mother-in-Law, Daughter-in-Law Relationship, but Dr. Morris, who is writing under a pseudonym
“to protect the innocent,” is a well-known family therapist in Rego Park, Queens. This is the third of his books that we have presented to our readers.

We’ve all heard most of the “mother-in-law” jokes of famous comedians, but men usually tell
them about their mothers-in-law … and we know that they don’t really mean it, which is why they’re funny. The real situation is about the (usually) young bride and his mother and the clash of control between these two ladies who both love the very same man.

Dr. Morris, who writes about modern human relationships, covers all the bases with this new
book (available as either an e-book or in paperback), and his last words are a quote from
The Book of Ruth: “… wherever you go, I will go; wherever you lodge, I will lodge; your people are my people, and your G-d is my G-d; where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried.” In the ideal relationship the younger woman not only marries her husband – she becomes attached to his mother.
