Violence Resumes after Jewish Suspects Named

Sunday, July 6th, 2014

Israeli police are gearing up for another night of violence, following the arrest of six Jews in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Mohammed Abu Khdeir last week.

Riots have flared on-and-off all day in Jerusalem and the Galilee. Routes 70 and 65 have been partially closed, and about 200 Arab citizens of Israel attacked police with rocks and Molotov cocktails.  Eleven people were arrested, according to the Ynet website.

As of this writing, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said affected areas were “relatively quiet,” but he added that riot forces were preparing for a long night of violence in the capital and in the north.

Six suspects have been arrested in the murder of 16 year old Mohammad Abu Khdeir.  Several of the suspects were minors.

Shocked many Israelis

The violence of the crime has shocked many in the country, who still find it hard to believe that Jews could be capable of such terror.

The young Arab teen, a resident of the northern Jerusalem suburb of Shuafat, was found dead in the Jerusalem forest last week. Burns covered 90 percent of his body and there were other signs of violence as well. The coroner allegedly reported that he had been burned alive, according to a source.

Arabs instantly used the murder as the excuse to launch a third intifada despite its immediate condemnation by the Israeli leadership before evidence existed the crime was committed by Jews.

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has continued to call for an investigation by the United Nations into the murder, despite the fact that suspects have already been taken into custody by Israel Police.

Sunday, July 6th, 2014

Arabs are now extending their riots into Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem.

Firebombs and stonings have been reported in Gilo, Har Homa and Maaleh Zeitim (on the Mount of Olives).

Arabs tried to kidnap a 13 year old Jewish child in Har Homa on Shabbat. The child got away. Police set up roadblocks hoping to catch the 2 Arabs.

There are reports that Jews have gone into Beit Tsafafa and have begun throwing stones back at the Arabs.

Cholent Saves Diaspora Yeshiva from Arab Attack

Saturday, July 5th, 2014

On Friday night, 15 Arabs rioters from the Silwan/Shiloach (City of David) broke in and attacked Jerusalem’s Diaspora Yeshiva on Mount Zion.

The Arabs attacked the Yeshiva students inside with stones and blocks, according to a report on B’Chadarei Chareidim.

Fearing the Arabs were armed with guns, the students initially ran away for safety, but they then returned to defend the yeshiva and themselves from the Arab terrorists.

The students began to fight back, throwing chairs at the rioting Arabs, boiling water, and eventually even throwing the Cholent at the rioting Arab infiltrators.

Cholent is a traditional Jewish stew that sits on the fire throughout Shabbat, and is usually eaten for lunch.

After the Cholent was thrown, the Arabs ran away.

Police arrived a half hour after the attack was over.

It’s not known what the students ate for lunch on Shabbat.

Violent Arab Rioting Spreading Throughout Israel

Saturday, July 5th, 2014

Arabs rioting in Jerusalem has spread from Shuafat, Beit Hanina and the Temple Mount into the Old City (near the Kotel), Abu Tor, Wadi Joz, and Issawiya.

In addition, Arabs rioted in Nazareth, the Wadi Ara region (northern Israel), Kalanswa, Tira, Baqa al-Gharbiya, Tul Karem, Kalkilya, Qalandia, Kfar Kassem and Taibe.

The rioters threw stones, burned tires, and just generally destroyed property.

In Jerusalem, the Arabs continued to try destroy the Jerusalem Light Rail, by cutting down the train’s electric poles and destroying the tracks. One-third of the train’s daily passengers are Arabs from Shuafat and Beit Hanina.

At the moment, Israeli police are concentrating on a policy of containment, limiting the Arab riots to their neighborhoods, and not letting it spill over to other neighborhoods.

Police have restricted themselves to using riot gear. Though in one case a policeman opened fire at a car that tried to run over some policemen. One of the car’s tires was hit, but the car escaped.

Police special forces were in Jerusalem on Friday, after guns and rifles were openly seen at the funeral for Mohammed Abu-Khder.

If nothing else, perhaps this puts an end to some of the delusions and illusions that Israel has about many of its Arab citizens.
