British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Converted to Islam Just in Time for Hajj

Friday, September 16th, 2016

Simon Collins, 60, is the first British ambassador to Saudi Arabia to attend the Hajj pilgrimage, which is verboten to non-Muslims. This is because Collins has converted to Islam. He joined an estimated 100 thousand Brits who have embraced the religion of Mohammad, including, possibly, the late Sir Winston Churchill.

Inayat Bunglawala, founder of Muslims4UK, a Muslim missionary organization, told the Independent in 2011 that these figures were “not implausible.” He pointed out they mean “that around one in 600 Britons is a convert to the faith,” noting, “Islam is a missionary religion and many Muslim organizations and particularly university students’ Islamic societies have active outreach programs designed to remove popular misconceptions about the faith.”

Collins was pictured wearing the white robes of the pilgrimage. The photo was posted on the twitter account of Saudi Arabian writer and feminist Fawziah Albakr, who wrote in Arabic: “First British ambassador to the Kingdom undertakes the Hajj following his conversion to Islam. Simon Collins with his wife Huda in Mecca. Praise be to God.”

Twitter users who congratulated the Collinses included Saudi Arabia’s Princess Basmah bint Saud, who wrote: “Special congratulations to the ambassador and his wife.”

Collins was posted in Riyadh in 2015, after fleeing Syria where he represented the UK until 2012. Before that Collins was the UK’s ambassador to Qatar, after stints in the UK missions to Bahrain, Tunisia, India, Jordan and Dubai.

Are the Brits easily influenced by outside religions? You bet. In 2014 a letter was discovered by Warren Dockter, a history research fellow at Cambridge University, in which Winston Churchill is being beseeched by his future sister-in-law, Lady Gwendoline Bertie, in August 1907: “Please don’t become converted to Islam; I have noticed in your disposition a tendency to orientalize, Pasha-like tendencies, I really have.”

Lady Gwendoline cautioned: “If you come into contact with Islam your conversion might be effected with greater ease than you might have supposed, call of the blood, don’t you know what I mean, do fight against it.”

Churchill wrote Lady Lytton, also in 2007: “You will think me a pasha. I wish I were.”

Live British Mandate-Era Mortar Shell Discovered on Netanya’s Poleg Beach

Wednesday, September 14th, 2016

Police who were summoned for a report of a “suspicious-looking” item in Netanya on Wednesday made their next call to the bomb squad.

The “item” discovered by a beachcomber on Poleg Beach turned out to have been a live British Mandate-era 155mm artillery shell.

Civilians who have walked on the beach were more lucky than they knew: Police sappers on the scene said the mortar shell was unstable and dangerous, even after more than half a century.

The sappers chose to safely detonate the shell at the site.

British MP Acts Against Jibril Rajoub Following PMW Report

Monday, September 12th, 2016

{Originally posted to the Palestinian Media Watch website}

“… I attach a dossier of information compiled by Palestinian Media Watch about Jibril Rajoub… I believe that a statement from your department making clear that Jibril Rajoub will be prohibited from entering the UK will send an unequivocal message that Britain does not and will not tolerate the promotion of terrorism.”
[Letter from MP Joan Ryan
to Secretary of State for the Home Department Amber Rudd, Sept. 6, 2016]

The PMW report referred to by MP Ryan includes over 20 pages of examples of Rajoub’s statements and activities promoting terror, prohibiting peace building events, and glorifying terrorists, such as the examples below:

“I say that whoever carried out individual acts of heroism (i.e., referring to terror attacks), we in the Fatah Movement bless and encourage them. We consider them heroes and a crown on the head of every Palestinian… beginning with our brother Muhannad Halabi (who murdered 2 – Ed.)…”
[Official PA TV, Jan. 2, 2016]

“The international community does not agree to a bus exploding in Tel Aviv. But the international community does not ask what happens to a settler or soldier in the occupied territories at the wrong time and in the wrong place. No one asks about him! Therefore, we want to fight in such a way that the world and the international community will remain by our side.” [Official PA TV, Oct. 17, 2015]

In 2005, the British Home Office recognized glorification of terror as one among several “unacceptable behaviours.” The Home Secretary is empowered to bar an individual engaging in one or more of these “unacceptable behaviours” from entry to British soil:
“The power to deny a person the ability to enter the UK is an important tool… Individuals can be excluded… under the unacceptable behaviours or extremism exclusion policy.”
“The list of unacceptable behaviours… covers any non-UK national in the UK or abroad who uses any means … to express views which: foment, justify or glorify terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs; seek to provoke others to terrorist acts…”
[House of Commons Briefing Paper , Number 7035, July 21, 2016,
emphasis added]
Jibril Rajoub’s statements and actions during the recent terror wave (as documented by PMW) clearly put him in this category.
PMW has shared the documentation of Jibril Rajoub’s terror support with other MPs as well, and similar action may be pursued in other countries.

EasyJet Claims ‘Disruptive Passengers’ to Blame for Separation, Removal from Flight

Monday, May 9th, 2016

EasyJet Airlines categorically denied having removed and separated Jewish passengers from the rest of the travelers on board a flight from Barcelona to Paris on May 1, in a statement to media on Monday by Andy Cockburn, the airline’s director of public relations.

“Flight EZY3920 from Barcelona to Paris Charles de Gaulle on 1 May 2016 with 180 passengers on board returned to the gate in Barcelona and was met by police due to a group of passengers behaving in a disruptive manner,” said Cockburn, as quoted by JTA in several Jewish publications.

“All passengers were asked to disembark at the request of the police so they could speak to a small number of passengers in order to investigate the incident…. [EasyJet] does not tolerate abusive or threatening behavior on board,” he added.

JewishPress.com and Cockburn exchanged phone calls numerous times on Monday but each time JP returned the call, Cockburn was unavailable or could not be reached. Messages were left on both sides and emails were exchanged as well, but contact was elusive.

Even if some passengers were “disruptive” it still is not clear why an entire flight was forced to disembark, nor why only the Jewish passengers were required to remain secluded for six hours in a separate section of the terminal under armed police guard, nor why their captors refused to answer their questions.

Cockburn’s contention that the Jewish passengers were separated at the request of the police so they could be questioned under investigation does not make much sense, unless the police were only probing Jews. However, the spokesperson’s final comment that the airline “does not tolerate abusive or threatening behavior on board” seems to imply that Jews were behaving in an abusive or threatening behavior on board prior to takeoff.

British Muslims Plead for ISIS to Free Captive Alan Henning

Thursday, September 18th, 2014

UK Muslims are calling on ISIS to release British captive Alan Henning, an aid volunteer who is next on the beheading list according to the most recent video released by the group.

In their letter, more than 100 Muslim groups and leaders wrote, “We, the undersigned British Muslim Imams, organizations and individuals, wish to express our horror and revulsion at the senseless murder of David Haines and the threat to the life of our fellow British citizen, Alan Henning.”

During the filmed decapitation Saturday of fellow British aid worker David Haines, an ISIS terrorist warned the group would do the same to Henning if the UK continued to support action against ISIS.

It is believed the man who is carrying out the beheadings in all of the videos, and who appears to speak English with a British accent, is indeed a British national. “UK media have begun to call him “Jihadi John.”

Numerous Muslims in countries around the world are hurrying to dissociate themselves from the group, insisting that ISIS has no connection to Islam.

The group is rapidly spreading its influence around the globe, with lone wolf operators and ISIS sleeper cells developing in various countries, including the United States. Security officials are working hard to keep up with the group.

This week a massive security sting operation hauled in 15 suspects and foiled an ISIS plot to hold a public beheading in Australia. More than 800 police officers were involved in the raids that focused on 22-year-old Omarjan Azari, who was believed to be the ringleader of the groups local network. He was charged on Thursday with preparing to commit a terrorist act.

World Support Building for Coalition to Fight ISIS After New Beheading Video

Sunday, September 14th, 2014

Slowly, world support is building for an organized coalition to fight the the global terror organization, Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), following the posting of a new video showing a member of the group beheading a UK citizen and threatening to behead another.

Condemnation were heard from world leaders in Europe on Sunday in response to the video, which was posted on the internet. The response continues to pour in following the murder this weekend of British aid worker David Haines, who was beheaded by the ISIS global terrorist organization. Haines was captured in 2013.

British Prime Minister David Cameron summoned military and security chiefs for an emergency meeting following the video publicity of the murder. The group has now threatened UK citizen Alan Henning with a similar fate.

French President Francois Hollande said in a statement issued Sunday, “The heinous murder of David Haines shows once again how the international community must mobilize against Da’esh,” referring to the Arabic acronym for ISIS.

On Saturday, U.S. President Barack Obama strongly condemned what he called the “barbaric murder.” The American leader has been calling for a Western and Middle Eastern coalition of nations to fight ISIS. “The United States stands shoulder to shoulder with our close friend and ally in grief and resolve,” Obama said in a statement. “We will work with the United Kingdom and a broad coalition of nations from the region and around the world to bring the perpetrators of this outrageous act to justice, and to degrade and destroy this threat to the people of our countries, the region and the world.”

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri, meanwhile, said Saturday that ISIS has formed ties with other terrorist groups in the region. Shukri echoed the call by France and the United States to unite in a global action to counter the threat.

Speaking at a joint Cairo news conference with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Shukri warned that a number of terrorist groups in the region share the same ideology and underlined that they must be dealt with, for everyone’s safety.

The comments mirror similar remarks by Saudi Arabian King Abdullah earlier this month.
