Kerry’s ‘Chicken’ Apology a Set-Up to Punish Israel with New ‘Peace’ Plan

Saturday, November 1st, 2014

It took U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry three days to apologize to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for the White House’s infamous “chickens***” insult, and the reason for the delay may lie in a report that he is planning to propose a new “negotiations’ agenda that Israel cannot possibly accept.

The apology came in what American sources said was a “good conversation” in a phone call from the Secretary of Talk. Prior to the conversation, he limited himself to stating that that the insult “does not reflect the president, it does not reflect me, it is disgraceful, unacceptable, damaging.”

However, the highest White House official to denounce the remark was National Security Council spokesman Alistair Baskey, who stated, “Certainly, that’s not the administration’s view, and we think such comments are inappropriate and counterproductive.”

The ”chickens***” remark, reported by the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, takes off another White House mask hiding its obsession with its own messianic “peace process’ that has sold out Israel to the Palestinian Authority.

The White House , even after the “chickens***” remark, regurgitated the mantra of its “unshakeable” bond with Israel.

The establishment media has whitewashed the entire episode by ignoring an even more idiotic, immoral, unethical and disgusting comment by Obama administration sources quoted by Goldberg.

He wrote:

“Over the years ,Obama administration officials have described Netanyahu to me as recalcitrant, myopic, reactionary, obtuse, blustering, pompous, and ‘Aspergery.’” One of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s children has Asperger’s Syndrome.

The crude, personal and absolutely boorish and indecent remark has been totally ignored by the media and by the Obama administration.

Scott Badesch, President of the Autism Society of America, urged President Barack Obama to “fire the person who made the remark and to “ say you will not allow anyone in your administration to deny respect and value in their use of words describing anyone with Asperger’s and autism.

“Imagine the public outcry if such demeaning language was used to describe any other group of people. And my guess is you know who said it,” he added.

The Ruderman Family Foundation, which helps Jews with disabilities, stated, “The term ‘Aspergery’ was used in a manner that is insulting to the millions of people around the world with Asperger Syndrome.”

The ‘Aspergy” remark highlights the type of lack of intellect of advisers Obama has chosen.

The media let Obama off the hook for the “Aspergery” remark, but the rage over “chickens***” was one of the reasons for Kerry’s delayed apology.

A second and possibly more weighty reason is that Kerry is about to throw Israel under the bus again with a new plan to resume talks with the Palestinian Authority to meets Ramallah’s pre-conditions.

The time frame of Kerry’s apology makes it appear as a set-up to publicly patronize Netanyahu before trying to embarrass him into having to refuse an offer that the Al Quds newspaper said is in the top drawer. Kerry will ask Israel to stop all construction in Judea and Samaria, freeze similar actions in Palestinian Authority-claimed areas of Jerusalem. In return, Israel will be “rewarded” by Abbas suspending his bid to the United Nations Security Council for recognition of the Palestinian Authority as a member.

After an obvious refusal by Israel, and if Abbas can get the necessary two-thirds majority in the Security Council, Israel would be on its knees for the United States to veto the approval.

Before the formal apology, Kerry said last Tuesday he is working “quietly” to resume Abbas’ ultimatum, couched in the word “negotiations” to agree to surrender half of Jerusalem and all of Judea and Samaria. Then there is the issue of the several million foreign Arabs who live under the lie as “refugees” and who the Arab world insists be allowed to move to Israel.

Israelis Flood Local Market for Top-Class Poultry Rejected by European Union Boycott

Sunday, August 17th, 2014

Israeli poultry farmers are taking their export business elsewhere these days – and their chickens too.

European Union sanctions on business emanating from firms based in Judea, Samaria and other locations on the ‘wrong’ side of the 1949 Armistice Line have complicated Israel’s business dealings.

Chickens and poultry products from those areas have become part of the business casualties to fall by the wayside. But given the number of southern chicken coops that were struck by rocket fire during Operation Protective Edge, this may be a blessing in disguise for the local market, particularly with the upcoming Jewish holiday month of Tishrei looming on the horizon.

The process has gotten to the point that it’s no longer worth it for many business owners to bother with the Europeans. Instead, Israeli business owners are seeking other venues — closer to home — for their products.

Officials from Israel’s foreign and agricultural ministries say the dilemma has been solved by an increase in domestic demand which has risen, ironically, in part due to the European persecution of Jews abroad.

For the past two months, the premium-quality products have instead been diverted to local markets, where they much appreciated and in very high demand – particularly with the influx of new immigrants with discriminating palates from France and North America.

It is true the Jewish communities in Europe are sadly being deprived and missing out; but Israelis who normally are asked to make due with the export ‘leftovers’ are reaping the benefits of the ‘sanction bonanza’ as a result.

And happier, gourmet Israelis at home make for a far more popular government in times of crisis.

Bottom line: Palestinian Arab terrorism hasn’t gotten a toehold — let alone a snowball’s chance — with the Netanyahu administration in power.

There are no chickens in the Israeli government coalition this time around.

They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?

Thursday, July 17th, 2014

Well, if you’re from Gaza, the answer is, not only do you kill chickens and cows (and of course people), but now you also kill horses.

A rocket earlier today (Thursday), landed in Hevel Modiin area, and hit a horse ranch.

A number of horses were killed by the rocket.

Denmark Bans Meatballs to Accommodate Muslims

Sunday, August 18th, 2013

One of the largest hospitals in Denmark has admitted to serving only halal beef — meat that is slaughtered in accordance with strict Islamic guidelines — to all of its patients regardless of whether or not they are Muslim.

The revelation that Danes are being forced to eat Islamically slaughtered meat at public institutions has triggered a spirited nationwide debate about how far Denmark should go to accommodate the estimated 250,000 Muslim immigrants now living in the country.

The halal food row erupted in July when the Danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet reported that Hvidovre Hospital near Copenhagen has been secretly serving only halal-slaughtered meat for the sake of its Muslim patients, for the past ten years. The hospital serves more than 40,000 patients annually, many (if not most) of whom presumably are non-Muslim.

Halal — which in Arabic means lawful or legal — is a term designating any object or action that is permissible according to Islamic Sharia law. In the context of food, halal meat is derived from animals slaughtered by hand according to methods stipulated in Islamic religious texts.

One such halal method, called dhabihah, consists of making a swift, deep incision with a sharp knife on the neck that cuts the jugular vein, leaving the animal to bleed to death. Much of the controversy involving halal stems from the fact that Sharia law bans the practice of stunning the animals before they are slaughtered. Pre-slaughter stunning renders the animals unconscious and is said to lessen their pain.

Amid a surge of public outrage over the decision to serve only halal beef, Hvidovre Hospital’s vice president, Torben Mogensen, has been unapologetic. “We have many patients from different ethnic backgrounds, which we must take into account, and it is impossible to have both the one and the other kind of beef,” he says.

“First,” Mogensen adds, “I do not think that a slaughter method as such has anything to do with faith. Second is, of course, that all chickens in Denmark are halal slaughtered, and it has to my knowledge not caused anyone to stop eating chicken.”

Mogensen also says the hospital is not trying to “push the Islamic faith down the throats of non-Muslim patients”

In a press release, Hvidovre Hospital states, “We introduced halal meat both for practical and economic reasons. It would be both more difficult and more expensive to have to make both a halal version and a non-halal version of the dishes. Then we have two production lines. It requires more people, more equipment and more money.”

The hospital advises non-Muslims to take it or leave it: “We always have alternatives to halal meat such as pork, fish or vegetarian dishes. It is a question of attitude.”

According to the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, there is no comprehensive inventory of the number of hospitals in Denmark have halal meat on the menu. But officials at the University Hospital in Aarhus, the second-largest urban area in Denmark after Copenhagen, say the decision by Hvidovre Hospital to serve only halal is an example of political correctness run amok.

In an interview with the newspaper Jyllands-Posten, Ole Hoffmann, the head chef of Aarhus University Hospital says: “We have never had a patient ask for halal meat, and therefore it is an issue that we have never discussed. I think it is a strange decision. If there was a desire to serve halal meat, then we would of course consider it, but we would never completely eliminate non-halal meat.”

Chicken Shortage Rumor a Bad Egg

Tuesday, March 5th, 2013

Hatched fears of a chicken shortage for Passover because of a one-day shutdown at Empire Kosher’s poultry plant are not even worth chickenfeed, according to an industry source.

Empire shut down its large Mifflintown, Pa. plant on Monday a week ago, either because the chickens were underweight or had leg problems that made them non-kosher, depending on which version is believed.

Haaretz quoted a Brooklyn supermarket meat manager that shortages have plagued consumers the past two weeks even without the shutdown.

However, Kosher Today reported this week that the near-panic is nothing more than ruffled feathers.

It said that kosher food sources that although prices have increased by as much as 20 percent, “there will be an ample supply of chickens for the holiday.”

Empire has resumed production, and the Mehadrin Poultry plant, which shut down in Birsboro, Pa. last year, is reopening and may add as many as 35,000 kosher birds a day.

“If my math is correct, there will be even more supply than last year,” a leading expert in kosher poultry said.
