Latke Crisps, Babka Bites – just two of the delicious snacking flavors from Thou Shall Snack, a company based in Seattle.  In our office we tried all four current flavors and according to our reviewers some of them were “melt in your mouth” delicious.  Winners of Best New Snack at this year’s Kosherfest, all their products can be found in your local kosher grocery or supermarket.  And by the way – the Babka Bites cinnamon flavored is mislabeled – it’s pareve, not dairy.

Love strong beer and visiting Israel?  Well the Nymburk Brewery based in the Czeck Republic is making a small run of it’s Nitro Beer – 5.5% alcohol and certified kosher under the Rabbanut – available in Israel only.  If it takes off there are plans to increase the production amount.

Living in Bishop’s Corner in Connecticut?  Well the local Waldbaum’s now has a glatt kosher deli under the supervision Hartford Kashrut Commission

And, the Bavarian Bread Company will feature a line of kosher products, including challah, under the supervision of Rabbi Chaim Steinmetz of Chabad of Sarasota and Manatee counties.
