Netanyahu Tells UK Israel Ready to Resume Direct Talks ‘Immediately’ With PA

Thursday, September 10th, 2015

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu underlined his “unconditional readiness” to resume talks with the Palestinian Authority today (Thursday, Sept. 10) in London with his British counterpart, Prime Minister David Cameron.

Speaking to reporters prior to their meeting, Netanyahu said, “I want to say here, at 10 Downing that I am ready to resume direct negotiations with the Palestinians with no conditions whatsoever to entering negotiations, and I am willing to do it immediately.”

Cameron added in his remarks that Britain “remains staunch in our defense of Israel’s right to exist and to defend itself.”

There have been scattered pro-Palestinian and BDS (boycott, divest and sanctions) demonstrations in the area where meetings are taking place. However, security personnel are ensuring the protesters are kept far from the Israeli officials and their staff members.

Netanyahu and his wife Sarah arrived Wednesday for a two-day visit. Wednesday evening the Israeli prime minister met with British Jewish leaders and told them to avoid being apologetic when defending Israeli actions.

“This is an important struggle for public opinion and it has to be done with determination while saying in a clear voice that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and is standing at the front in the struggle against radical Islam,” he said.

Netanyahu noted at the outset of his meeting with Cameron that the Middle East is “disintegrating” in the face of radical Islam. The prime minister pointed to the damage being spread by Shi’ite Islam embodied by Iran and the Sunni extremism of Da’esh (ISIS), and said he wanted to discuss with Cameron ways to “roll back the tide of militant Islam both in the Middle East and North Africa.”

A third issue he wanted to raise with Cameron, he said, was the progress being made in Israeli and British centers of technology, and exploring what might be accomplished in various technologies by working together.

ISIS Allegedly Plots to Attack Britain’s Queen Elizabeth

Sunday, August 9th, 2015

The Da’esh (ISIS) terrorist organization allegedly is plotting to target Britain’s Queen Elizabeth next weekend.

On Saturday the country will mark the 70th anniversary of the World War II victory in Japan (VJ Day).

British jihadists are allegedly planning to attack the queen at that time through a plot similar to the attack by the Boston Marathon bomber, using a pressure cooker in central London.

UK police received notice of a specific concrete threat made against the Queen herself, according to The Sunday Express.

However, despite having been notified about the potential threat, the Queen has reportedly insisted she attend the events to “honor the fallen.”

On Saturday Her Majesty is scheduled to attend a service at St. Martins-in-the-Fields at Trafalgar Square.

The service will be followed by the Horse Guards Parade, a flypast and a wreath-laying ceremony before veterans and current troops are paraded down Whitehall and Westminster Abbey.

A number of other members of the royal family are also expected to attend the events as well, including Prince Charles – another reported target of the terrorist organization.

Thousands of spectators are expected to line the streets around Whitehall and Westminster Abbey during the festivities.

Prime Minister David Cameron, members of the Armed Forces and more than 1,000 veterans of the Far East campaign and their families will be among the attendees, who are also are considered to be possible targets of the terrorists, according to the report.

S01 Specialist Protection, which provides security for Prime Minister David Cameron and other government dignitaries, will be providing coverage for the events, along with Scotland Yard’s Royal Protection unit, SO 14 and the Home Office.

British Voters Clobber Labour and Vote for Pro-Israel Cameron

Friday, May 8th, 2015

Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron is on his way to another term and almost certain majority in the Parliament, according to projections by the BBC.

Voters clobbered Labour, led by Ed Miliband, who can forget about continuing to lead the party considering the drubbing voters dealt him. Miliband is Jewish, at least in name, but pre-election polls showed that most Jews planned to vote for the Tories.

The health service, economy and immigration were the key issues in the election campaign.

Pro-Hamas George Galloway’s loss of his seat is another sign that Europeans are fed up with liberal immigration policies and a tolerance of radical Islam that has allowed Sharia law to be the last word in some areas.

Cameron is not yet claiming a Parliamentary majority, which the BBC projects.

The returns are good news for Israel. Cameron has been clear in his opposition to Hamas and support for Israel, although he supports “two states.”

Miliband said last year during Operation Protective Edge against Hamas that although Israel has a “right to defend itself against rocket attacks, I cannot explain, justify, or defend the horrifying deaths of hundreds of Palestinians, including children and innocent civilians. And as a party we oppose the further escalation of violence we have seen with Israel’s invasion of Gaza.”

Miliband bought the Palestinian Authority and Hamas propaganda hook, line and sinker.

Cameron, on the other hand, said last month:

What I’ve seen is the attacks that take place on Israel and the indiscriminate nature of them.….

I feel very strongly that this equivalence that sometimes people try to draw when these attacks take place is so completely wrong and unfair…..

Obviously we regret the loss of life wherever it takes place, but I do think there’s an important difference – as Prime Minister Netanyahu put it: Israel uses its weapons to defend its people and Hamas uses its people to defend its weapons.

Britain has never had a prime minister as pro-Israel as Cameron. Unlike other “pro-Zionist’ prime ministers such as Margaret Thatcher and even Winston Churchill, Cameron has done more than mouth off for Israel.

He also has been more aggressive than President Barack Obama in trying to use sanctions to force Iran into capitulation on its goal to produce a nuclear weapon that would be aimed at Israel.

UK Vows to ‘Strengthen Resolve’ in Response to ISIS Murder of Jordanian Pilot

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015

British Prime Minister David Cameron slammed the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on Tuesday evening for its “sickening murder” of a captive Jordanian pilot. He pledged solidarity with Amman in response to news of the execution of 26-year-old Muath al-Kasaesbeh.

In a statement released by Downing Street, Cameron condemned the sickening act by what he called the “barbaric terrorists” of ISIL, another acronym for the terror group.

“I pay tribute to the dedication and bravery of Lieutenant Moaz al Kasasbeh, who as a member of the Jordanian Armed Forces serving in the anti-ISIL Coalition, paid with his life while protecting his country and us all.

“My thoughts and prayers are with his family tonight at this tragic time. “These terrorists’ brutal behaviour will only strengthen our resolve. We stand in solidarity with our Jordanian friends and we will continue to work with them and our other Coalition partners to defeat ISIL.

“Together we are making progress. In the last week, ISIL has been thrown out of Kobane.

“The Iraqi Armed Forces, with Coalition support, are steadily re-taking territory in Northern Iraq, freeing many thousands from ISIL’s utter cruelty. We will not stop until these evil extremists and their poisonous ideology are defeated.”

Obama ‘Dog Whistles’ Netanyahu (and Insults Congress, too)

Tuesday, January 20th, 2015

There is a phrase called “dog whistling.” It is making reference to the kind of high pitched dog whistles that operate at such a high sound frequency that humans cannot hear, but the intended audience – dogs – can.

Using “dog whistling” in a non-canine context means saying something so that the intended audience understands what you mean, without having to say the exact words. Dog whistling enables the “whistler” to escape being quoted while clearly signaling to the intended audience what the whistle was about.

During the press briefing held in the White House on Friday, Jan. 16, by U.S. President Barack Obama and U.K. Prime Minster David Cameron, Obama engaged in some dog whistling.

It happened during a lengthy response from the president to a question posed by Major Garrett, the Chief White House Correspondent for CBS News. Garrett asked whether he had correctly understood that the president to say that if the diplomatic negotiations with Iran over the Islamic Republic’s efforts to obtain nuclear weapons fail, the next step will be a military one.

The president emphatically denied that was what he meant: “I am not, repeat not, suggesting that were are at immediate war footing should negotiations with Iran fail,” Obama said, “we simply have to recognize that should diplomacy fail, we have to look at other options.”

If diplomacy fails, and the allies won’t then proceed to war footing, the message the president is sending to Iran is, you can look forward to even more time to have your way while we argue over next steps. The U.S. president had explained his view of why he would veto any new sanctions bill, even one that would only be triggered should his negotiations with Iran fail. In his view, the current deal would not permit any such step, and it could jeopardize any possibility of a diplomatic resolution. Then Obama pursed his lips and began dog whistling. There can be no doubt who Obama is insulting with this whistle:

If you listen to the rhetoric surrounding this issue, I think there is sometimes the view that this regime cannot be trusted, that, effectively, negotiations with Iran are pointless.

Not sure yet? Here it comes:

And since these claims are being made by individuals who see Iran as a mortal threat… .

Yes, “individuals who see Iran as a mortal threat,” are the ones who are trying to undermine this president’s diplomatic efforts. By the way, Obama said during this same press briefing that those efforts have, at best, a 50-50 chance of success. So the person attempting to undermine the diplomatic efforts is that “coward” (remember when that word was used by this administration to describe the Israeli leader?) in Jerusalem: Binyamin Netanyahu.

So long as he was handing out insults, Obama also tossed one out to members of Congress. Obama said that “his team” would not agree to any deal with Iran that would allow the Islamic Republic to, either covertly or gradually, build up its nuclear weapons capability. He vowed that any deal made with the Iranians would be scrutinized by knowledgeable professionals. Obama made clear that by knowledgeable professionals, he did not mean members of Congress. He said:

We’re not going to allow that and anything that we do, any deal that we arrive at, if we were to arrive at one, would be subject to scrutiny across the board. Not just by members of Congress, but, more importantly, by people who actually know how the technical aspects of nuclear programs can advance, and how we can effectively verify in the most rigorous way possible, that the terms of the deal are being met. (emphasis added.)

At least the Supreme Court has not had to weigh in on this issue yet, or we might have had a trifecta.

ISIS Beheading of British Citizen Wakes Up Cameron

Saturday, October 4th, 2014

The British government finally woke up and vowed to destroy ISIS after the radical Islamic group posted on Friday a video that purported to show the beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning Friday.

It was the fourth time ISIS, AKA Islamic State and lately IS, has posted a video of beheadings, the first ones being American journalists James Foley and afterwards a Jew, Steven Sotloff.

Britain, like all European countries, is being overwhelmed with a burgeoning Muslim population, and the fundamentalists, whether a majority or a minority, have hijacked the new demographics and already has established Sharia law as the supreme law in some communities.

The more the Muslim demographic revolution overruns countries such as Belgium and France, the more the governments are afraid to do anything that might upset them and cause violence. The more they refrain, the more the radicals show their presence through fear.

Fear is the biggest weapon of radical Islamists, and ISIS has mastered the strategy through beheadings. It is more brutal than simply hanging or shooting someone in the back of the head, but the end result is the same. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu tries and tries, so far unsuccessfully, to convince the world that ISIS and Hamas are one and the same. The West doesn’t buy it because doing so would ruin the peace process sham.

Everyone denies reality until it happens to close to home.

ISIS gave advance notice to Britain that British aid worker Henning was next in line, and the British Parliament last promptly voted to join the American-led coalition to strike ISI in Iraq, which the Royal Air Force bombed on Saturday.

Friday’s video sows the ISIS executioner, apparently the same British-accented so-called human being who decapitated three previous victims. It also shows Henning, with his tied behind his back.

“Because of our parliament’s decision to attack the Islamic state, I, as a member of the British public, will now pay the price,” Henning said in the video.

Cameron now is boiling.

“It is senseless. It is completly unforgivable. Anyone in any doubt about this organization can now see how truly repulsive it is and barbaric it is,” he said Saturday.

Good morning, Mr. Cameron.

Scotland Will Remain Part of UK, Independence Vote Loss

Friday, September 19th, 2014

Following a nationalistic campaign to gain independence and break away as an independent nation, Scotland fails to muster the necessary votes in a national referendum, according to the BBD. Scotland will remain, along with England, Wales and Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom.

Scotland has been a part of the UK for more than 300 years.

The campaign to gain independence did not succeed, but it did leverage promises for substantial new power to Scotland’s parliament from the main political parties in England.

Had Scotland voted for independence, it would have struck a deep blow to England’s Prime Minister David Cameron prestige and diminished his ability to maneuver on the world stage.
