UK Vows to ‘Strengthen Resolve’ in Response to ISIS Murder of Jordanian Pilot

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015

British Prime Minister David Cameron slammed the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on Tuesday evening for its “sickening murder” of a captive Jordanian pilot. He pledged solidarity with Amman in response to news of the execution of 26-year-old Muath al-Kasaesbeh.

In a statement released by Downing Street, Cameron condemned the sickening act by what he called the “barbaric terrorists” of ISIL, another acronym for the terror group.

“I pay tribute to the dedication and bravery of Lieutenant Moaz al Kasasbeh, who as a member of the Jordanian Armed Forces serving in the anti-ISIL Coalition, paid with his life while protecting his country and us all.

“My thoughts and prayers are with his family tonight at this tragic time. “These terrorists’ brutal behaviour will only strengthen our resolve. We stand in solidarity with our Jordanian friends and we will continue to work with them and our other Coalition partners to defeat ISIL.

“Together we are making progress. In the last week, ISIL has been thrown out of Kobane.

“The Iraqi Armed Forces, with Coalition support, are steadily re-taking territory in Northern Iraq, freeing many thousands from ISIL’s utter cruelty. We will not stop until these evil extremists and their poisonous ideology are defeated.”

Obama ‘Dog Whistles’ Netanyahu (and Insults Congress, too)

Tuesday, January 20th, 2015

There is a phrase called “dog whistling.” It is making reference to the kind of high pitched dog whistles that operate at such a high sound frequency that humans cannot hear, but the intended audience – dogs – can.

Using “dog whistling” in a non-canine context means saying something so that the intended audience understands what you mean, without having to say the exact words. Dog whistling enables the “whistler” to escape being quoted while clearly signaling to the intended audience what the whistle was about.

During the press briefing held in the White House on Friday, Jan. 16, by U.S. President Barack Obama and U.K. Prime Minster David Cameron, Obama engaged in some dog whistling.

It happened during a lengthy response from the president to a question posed by Major Garrett, the Chief White House Correspondent for CBS News. Garrett asked whether he had correctly understood that the president to say that if the diplomatic negotiations with Iran over the Islamic Republic’s efforts to obtain nuclear weapons fail, the next step will be a military one.

The president emphatically denied that was what he meant: “I am not, repeat not, suggesting that were are at immediate war footing should negotiations with Iran fail,” Obama said, “we simply have to recognize that should diplomacy fail, we have to look at other options.”

THE DOG WHISTLE

If diplomacy fails, and the allies won’t then proceed to war footing, the message the president is sending to Iran is, you can look forward to even more time to have your way while we argue over next steps. The U.S. president had explained his view of why he would veto any new sanctions bill, even one that would only be triggered should his negotiations with Iran fail. In his view, the current deal would not permit any such step, and it could jeopardize any possibility of a diplomatic resolution. Then Obama pursed his lips and began dog whistling. There can be no doubt who Obama is insulting with this whistle:

If you listen to the rhetoric surrounding this issue, I think there is sometimes the view that this regime cannot be trusted, that, effectively, negotiations with Iran are pointless.

Not sure yet? Here it comes:

And since these claims are being made by individuals who see Iran as a mortal threat… .

Yes, “individuals who see Iran as a mortal threat,” are the ones who are trying to undermine this president’s diplomatic efforts. By the way, Obama said during this same press briefing that those efforts have, at best, a 50-50 chance of success. So the person attempting to undermine the diplomatic efforts is that “coward” (remember when that word was used by this administration to describe the Israeli leader?) in Jerusalem: Binyamin Netanyahu.

OBAMA ALSO INSULTED CONGRESS AS AMATEURS REGARDING IRAN

So long as he was handing out insults, Obama also tossed one out to members of Congress. Obama said that “his team” would not agree to any deal with Iran that would allow the Islamic Republic to, either covertly or gradually, build up its nuclear weapons capability. He vowed that any deal made with the Iranians would be scrutinized by knowledgeable professionals. Obama made clear that by knowledgeable professionals, he did not mean members of Congress. He said:

We’re not going to allow that and anything that we do, any deal that we arrive at, if we were to arrive at one, would be subject to scrutiny across the board. Not just by members of Congress, but, more importantly, by people who actually know how the technical aspects of nuclear programs can advance, and how we can effectively verify in the most rigorous way possible, that the terms of the deal are being met. (emphasis added.)

At least the Supreme Court has not had to weigh in on this issue yet, or we might have had a trifecta.

ISIS Beheading of British Citizen Wakes Up Cameron

Saturday, October 4th, 2014

The British government finally woke up and vowed to destroy ISIS after the radical Islamic group posted on Friday a video that purported to show the beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning Friday.

It was the fourth time ISIS, AKA Islamic State and lately IS, has posted a video of beheadings, the first ones being American journalists James Foley and afterwards a Jew, Steven Sotloff.

Britain, like all European countries, is being overwhelmed with a burgeoning Muslim population, and the fundamentalists, whether a majority or a minority, have hijacked the new demographics and already has established Sharia law as the supreme law in some communities.

The more the Muslim demographic revolution overruns countries such as Belgium and France, the more the governments are afraid to do anything that might upset them and cause violence. The more they refrain, the more the radicals show their presence through fear.

Fear is the biggest weapon of radical Islamists, and ISIS has mastered the strategy through beheadings. It is more brutal than simply hanging or shooting someone in the back of the head, but the end result is the same. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu tries and tries, so far unsuccessfully, to convince the world that ISIS and Hamas are one and the same. The West doesn’t buy it because doing so would ruin the peace process sham.

Everyone denies reality until it happens to close to home.

ISIS gave advance notice to Britain that British aid worker Henning was next in line, and the British Parliament last promptly voted to join the American-led coalition to strike ISI in Iraq, which the Royal Air Force bombed on Saturday.

Friday’s video sows the ISIS executioner, apparently the same British-accented so-called human being who decapitated three previous victims. It also shows Henning, with his tied behind his back.

“Because of our parliament’s decision to attack the Islamic state, I, as a member of the British public, will now pay the price,” Henning said in the video.

Cameron now is boiling.

“It is senseless. It is completly unforgivable. Anyone in any doubt about this organization can now see how truly repulsive it is and barbaric it is,” he said Saturday.

Good morning, Mr. Cameron.

Scotland Will Remain Part of UK, Independence Vote Loss

Friday, September 19th, 2014

Following a nationalistic campaign to gain independence and break away as an independent nation, Scotland fails to muster the necessary votes in a national referendum, according to the BBD. Scotland will remain, along with England, Wales and Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom.

Scotland has been a part of the UK for more than 300 years.

The campaign to gain independence did not succeed, but it did leverage promises for substantial new power to Scotland’s parliament from the main political parties in England.

Had Scotland voted for independence, it would have struck a deep blow to England’s Prime Minister David Cameron prestige and diminished his ability to maneuver on the world stage.

British PM : Check Schools After Islamist Takeover Plot

Monday, June 9th, 2014

Britain is beginning to wake up after an Islamist plot to take over the nation’s school system was discovered.

The alleged plot, ‘Operation Trojan Horse,’ involved forcing state schools to adopt a more Muslim culture by hiring school governors whose sympathies lay with Islam and would support a more conservative Islamic religious agenda.

Prime Minister David Cameron issued a pre-emptive statement Monday prior to publication of the findings of an investigation by Ofsted school officials into the allegations about the plot.

Cameron also scolded two of his most senior ministers over the weekend for publicly criticizing each other over their handling of the issue.

British PM Cameron Claims Jewish Ancestors

Wednesday, March 12th, 2014

British Prime Minister David Cameron told the Knesset in his first official visit to Israel that he has Jewish ancestors going back five generations and therefore feels “just some sense of connection” with Jews and Israel.

Being Jewish or being connected to Judaism, without having to actually believe in the Torah, is politically correct these days. Maybe the world is beginning to understand it really can’t do without the Tribe even if it can’t quite accept Jews as Jewish.

Cameron practiced up on his Hebrew enough so that he could end his speech by saying in the native tongue,” We are together.”

It was enough to melt the hearts of the most liberal bleeding hearts who still believe that Britain is the God’s best gift to Israel outside of the United States of America, and let’s bury in the sand the White Paper and dozens of other anti-Zionist treacheries by the Brits who did everything they could to make sure the Arabs would keep Israel from becoming a state..

“From the lexicon of my great, great grandfather Emile Levita, a Jewish man who came from Germany to Britain 150 years ago to the story of my forefather Elijah Levita who wrote what is thought to have been the first ever Yiddish novel,” Cameron said to the joy of the media and most Knesset members.

United Torah Judaism MKs were sparred the agony of listening to the hypocritical rah-rah Israel chatter and walked out on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Cameron, but for the wrong reasons. The coalition passed the universal draft bill into law Wednesday, and what better way to show disapproval than insulting a foreign dignitary?

They missed a boring parade of the right words in the right place at the right time. If his ancestors had left the Old Country with the first settlers, pardon the word, and had become Americans, he might as well as come out in support of God, the flag and apple pie.

Kosher slaughter:

“The Jewish community has been an absolute exemplar in integrating into British life in every way but integration doesn’t mean that you have to give up things that you hold very dear in your religion…. On my watch Shechita is safe in the UK.”

Score one for kosher slaughtering and score one for promoting assimilation so long as the Jews don’t ever forget they are Jews. But no worry; the non-Jews will remind them.

But of course that does not mean Cameron tolerates hate.

“We said no to Zakir Naik. We said no to Yusuf Qaradawi. And we said no to Dieudonne M’bala M’bala whose abhorrent displays of anti-Semitism have no place in a tolerant and inclusive Britain,” Cameron told the charring MKs.

Holocaust:

What can a foreign dignitary say about the Holocaust except “we’ll never forget”?

“As a father, I will never forget last year visiting the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin with my children and for the first time trying to explain to them quite what had happened. I want every child in Britain to learn about the Holocaust and to understand just how vital it is to fight discrimination and prejudice in our world,” he said.

Pro-Israel:

Every Western country is pro-Israel. J Street is pro-Israel. Iceland is pro-Israel. Everyone is pro-Israel, It is the “in” thing to say “let’s shrink your country to indefensible borders” and call it “pro-Israel.”

Let me say to you very clearly: with me, you have a British Prime Minister whose belief in Israel is unbreakable and whose commitment to Israel’s security will always be rock solid. Delegitimizing the state of Israel is wrong. It’s abhorrent. And together we will defeat it,” Cameron stated, using the broken-record term “unbreakable” that has become part of the U.S. Constitution.

Pope Francis Cancels Israel Trip

Friday, March 7th, 2014

Pope Francis has been forced to cancel his planned trip to Israel in May due to a labor dispute within the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

The Pope, who has garnered considerable acclaim from Jewish leaders for his push for stronger Jewish-Christian relations, announced the trip to Israel and Jordan in January. The visit was scheduled to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pope Paul VI’s visit in 1964.

Due to the Pope’s busy schedule, the visit was canceled and not rescheduled.

British Prime Minister David Cameron, who was scheduled to address the Israeli Knesset on March 12, was also forced to reschedule his visit due to the labor dispute. Cameron also had to cancel an earlier trip to Israel due to massive flooding in the U.K. in February.

The labor dispute may also force President Shimon Peres to cancel a scheduled trip to China in April.

The Foreign Ministry’s Workers Union is pushing for higher wages and better working conditions for diplomats serving abroad.
