Archaeologists Find Tomb of Egyptian Princess

Sunday, November 4th, 2012

The 4,500-year-old tomb of a Egyptian Pharaonic princess has been discovered by Czech archaeologists south of Cairo, leading experts to believe more tombs may be in the area.

A report by the Associated Press reveals that the tomb of Princess Shert Nebti, daughter of Pharaoh Men Salbo, has been found, surrounded by the tombs of four high officials from the Fifth Dynasty dating to around 2,500 BCE near the Saqqara pyramid.

Just weeks ago, the Egyptian government reopened a pyramid and tomb complex which had been closed 10 years for restoration.
