Terrorists Fire Missile in Sinai in Warm-Up for June 30 Protests

Tuesday, June 25th, 2013

Jihadist terrorists fired a Grad missile in the Sinai Tuesday, causing no injuries or damage. Egyptian sources said that attack was a warm-up for Sunday when widespread violence is expected in massive demonstrations against the Muslim Brotherhood  government of Mohammed Morsi.

His defense minister warned that the army will intervene is the protests turn violent on Sunday, the first anniversary of Morsi’s election. His popularity has plummeted  to the point that opposition groups vowed they will not stop their protests until he quits.

More than 15 million Egyptians have signed a petition calling for him to step down, setting the stage for a repeat of the violence that preceded the ouster of Hosni Mubarak more than two years ago.

Morsi said he is not going to act according to polls, explaining, “When George W Bush had 22% in the ratings, Americans didn’t talk about early presidential elections – that’s not the way that democracies are run.”
